The Morgan State women's cross country team captured its second consecutive team title, following Saturday's win at the DSU Hornet Invitational 5k meet, hosted by Delaware State. Led by their freshman sensation, Karen Escobedo, the Lady Bears won the event with a total of 27 points. Escobedo, continued her dominance as Morgan State's top runner, finishing with a personal-best time of 18:06.8 to place second overall out of 58 runners.
